St. Anton and the Arlberg a fantastic destination for hikers and nature lovers. The area offers a breathtaking backdrop of majestic peaks, green alpine meadows and clear mountain lakes. On the more than 300 kilometre long network of hiking trails in St. Anton am Arlberg, the Tyrolean alpine world is open to holidaymakers for extensive walks in healing mountain air. The hiking trails are very well marked and offer something for everyone, from easy walks to challenging mountain tours. One of the most famous hikes is the "Lechweg" hike.
Special highlights of the region are the Alpine Rose Trail and the Mountain Spirit Trail. Both have been awarded the Bergwege seal of quality by the province of Tyrol for many years.
The Arlberg mountain railways help you reach the summit quickly. They take you up to Rendl, Gampen, Kapall, Galzig and the highest peak in the region, the 2,811 metre-high Valluga.
